Our K12 educational system is very expensive, about $150,000 per graduate student, but no one is satisfied with the results.  Spending more money on more teachers is not helping.   One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting better results.  Clearly we need reforms.

Federal education programs are not improving education.  I believe in bottom up education starting in the home, the local school board and your local schools.

What can we do to stop the violence in our schools?  Improved security is needed.  I do not think gun control will help and may actually increase violence.  Did you know that guns are banned in Mexico and yet they have extreme gun violence.  Teachers in Israel carry assault rifles.  They care about their children and protect them.  Gun free zones tell criminals that they are safe and can attack.

Is the educational system itself contributing to the violence?  Morality and religion can not be taught in schools.  Children are looking for answers and the schools either do not have a message or have the wrong message.  Does gun violence in TV, movies, and video games enable real violence?

  1. I would like to express thanks to this writer for bailing me out of this condition. After searching through the world wide web and getting tips that were not productive, I believed my entire life was over. Being alive devoid of the approaches to the problems you’ve resolved through this blog post is a serious case, as well as those which might have in a negative way damaged my entire career if I hadn’t come across your website. Your primary capability and kindness in taking care of every aspect was very helpful. I am not sure what I would’ve done if I had not come upon such a step like this. I can at this time look ahead to my future. Thank you very much for your specialized and sensible guide. I will not be reluctant to endorse your blog to anybody who requires counselling about this issue.
