As bad as our economic policies are, our foreign relations are worse. The situation in Syria is critical. Egypt and Libia have gone to radical Muslims. Our Muslim population is growing in size and political power. I got a candidate questionaire asking if I would support Shria Law. Our foreign policy has been to foster democracy in the middle east which is not working. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Afganistan have theogratic governments implementing Sharia Law. Now Egypt and Lybia have gone to the radicals.
The fiasco in Bengazi shows how little we are prepared for the war being waged against us by our enemies. They attack us and we have to get command authority to respond. Our leaders make a political decision. It should be a military decision. If we were at war the local command would have immediately responded and wiped out the attackers. But in the current environment, our leaders had to determine the politics involved to determine their response
What is the bottom line on Bengazi? The bottom line is that Obama/ Clinton did not protect the embassy and at the time of the attack the president did a stand down and went to bed. He had it live on his TV. If we were at war with these people, he would be guilty of treason. But we are not so Obama decided to waste the ambassador for political reasons.
American law recognizes the role of religion in the formation of our country but states that the government must remail secular and not be controlled by a specific religion or religious law.
